As parents we can remember all too well the first days after bringing home the baby. Mom was barely coherent, much less preparing meals for the family! While many new parents have family and friends ready to step in and help out, some do not. FOM volunteers (aka Meal Makers) are ready & willing to whip up a meal or two for our new parents.

Are there needs that still need to be met beyond new parents? Of course. We have only just begun. Right now the list of willing Meal Makers is being constructed and two families have already been served. Do you want to help out in ways other than making a meal? Do you see a need that we could start meeting today? Then I invite you to come and join me, for I am only one:
Seven Men Chosen to Serve 1 But as the believers rapidly multiplied, there were rumblings of discontent. The Greek-speaking believers complained about the Hebrew-speaking believers, saying that their widows were being discriminated against in the daily distribution of food. 2 So the Twelve called a meeting of all the believers. They said, “We apostles should spend our time teaching the word of God, not running a food program. 3 And so, brothers, select seven men who are well respected and are full of the Spirit and wisdom. We will give them this responsibility.
