At Fishers of Men it is our privilege to share the unity of the Christian faith as we celebrate Holy Communion. Through this divine gift, to those who are truly repentant, God assures that our sins are forgiven, our faith is strengthened, and we receive the promise of life with God today and forever. We believe in the real presence of Christ, that with the bread and wine, we receive His true body and blood. We encourage all who share this faith to join us.
We celebrate Holy Communion on the first and third Sundays of the month at all three services, and on fifth Sundays at the 8:15 service. Both individual and common cups are available with the center ring of the tray of individual cups containing non-alcoholic wine.
Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another-and all the more as you see the Day approaching. (NIV)
This is a traditional service is based out of our Lutheran Worship Hymnal every Sunday. It's majesty and dignity have a timeless beauty. The hymns that are sung are familiar and the piano and organ music are great.
These more contemporary service use contemporary worship music. The atmosphere is lively and praise filled.
