40 Days and 40 Items
Ash Wednesday, March 6th, is the first day of Lent. We have a challenge for you! Each day of Lent, remove one item from your closet that you no longer wear or need and put it in to a trash bag (provided for you in the Gathering Area). At the end of the forty days, bring your bag to Fisher's to be picked up by East Ft. Bend Human Needs Ministry, who will share these items with people who can really use them!
Don't Forget to Wear Your Name Tags!
Fishers has been blessed with lots of new visitors! Be sure to grab your name tag each Sunday morning or at any church event so that new members, visitors and even long-term members you haven't met will get to know who you are. Don't have a name tag? We will be happy to order one for you. Email Susan Yovich at email@example.com to get your name tag ordered!
Fishers is a very active church and we are thrilled at the daily activity that goes on here! Lots of activities sometimes equals double booked facilities or staff being unaware of things that are going on. If your group is planning a church related event (on or off campus), if you have regular meetings, rehearsals, or if you would like to use the facilities for something unrelated to a church activity, please submit your request to Amy Benitez at firstname.lastname@example.org. Coming soon... a request form for calendar requests and facility use items on CCB!
