New Preaching Series
"Teeter Totter of Life"
Do you remember being on a teeter totter and just going up and down. Sometimes we would try to balance right in the middle. In this series, we will learn how to bring balance to our lives and learn what is really important. There are so many things in this world that can influence our lives and we need to stay focused on what really matters.
Have You Ever Thought About Becoming a Stephen Minister?
Searching for a new ministry opportunity at Fishers of Men? There will be a cost, you know, but there will also be great rewards. Stephen Ministry is our congregation's one-to-one caring ministry. Right now we're looking for members who are willing to pay the COST (Commitment of Self and Time)
and become Stephen Ministers, remembering that the blessings will outweigh the cost! Please email us at email@example.com for more information.
New Women's Evening Bible Study
Tuesday evenings starting Oct 24 at 7 pm in the Youth Room
The Bible study is entitled "The Armor of God" and is being taught by Kellye Crouch. It is a DVD based study by Priscilla Shirer. All day, every day, an invisible war rages around you — unseen, unheard, yet felt throughout every aspect of your life. A devoted, devilish enemy seeks to wreak havoc on everything that matters to you: your heart, your mind, your marriage, your children, your relationships, your resilience, your dreams, your destiny.
But his battle plan depends on catching you unaware and unarmed. If you're tired of being pushed around and caught with your guard down, this study is for you. For more information email Beth Egmonor Kellye Crouch.
