Advent and Christmas Worship Preaching Series
“Searching for the Perfect Present"
We spend a lot of time during the Christmas season finding gifts. When we find what we think is the perfect gift for a loved one, we are overjoyed. But sometimes that “perfect” present doesn’t always bring lasting joy to the person we bought it for. God doesn’t have to search for the perfect present for us. He already has more gifts for us than we can imagine. Starting this Sunday join us each week as we look at one of the gifts God has for us.
This Sunday, Dec 3 @ 9:40 am in the Chapel
Come hear a woman from POBLO give her powerful testimony about being persecuted for her faith

They are $10 each and you can designate them in honor or in memory of someone. You may take them home after services on Christmas Day. Look for the order form in the Trifold.
Can You Help?

James tells us that the prayers of righteous people are powerful and effective (James 5:16). During the coming week, we invite you to pray about our congregation's Stephen Ministry. Specifically, please pray for those God is calling to serve as caregivers in this ministry. For more information about Stephen Ministry, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org .
Have You Ever Thought About Becoming a Stephen Minister?
Comments from a Stephen Minister:
"At first I wasn't sure about all this caregiving stuff. I mean, didn't I love others enough already? Then I finished my Stephen Ministry training and met with the person for whom I provided care. Now I know what Christian love is all about! I didn't expect the wonderful gifts of love and friendship that God gave me through my caring relationship. What a wonderful ministry this is!" Contact us at email@example.com for more information.
New Women's Evening Bible Study
Tuesday evenings in the Youth Room (NO CLASS TONIGHT)
The Bible study is entitled "The Armor of God" and is being taught by Kellye Crouch. It is a DVD based study by Priscilla Shirer. All day, every day, an invisible war rages around you — unseen, unheard, yet felt throughout every aspect of your life. A devoted, devilish enemy seeks to wreak havoc on everything that matters to you: your heart, your mind, your marriage, your children, your relationships, your resilience, your dreams, your destiny.
But his battle plan depends on catching you unaware and unarmed. If you're tired of being pushed around and caught with your guard down, this study is for you. For more information email Beth Egmon
