Searching for the Perfect Present - Gift of Patience

What is patience?  It has been defined as an inner calmness that comes from the knowledge that God is in control.  Why is it difficult to have patience?  We live by the clock.  It is human nature and we are becoming an angry nation.  "You need to have patience so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what He has promised." Hebrews 10:36

How can we unwrap the gift of patience?  This gift comes from God - it is a fruit of the spirit. (Galatians 5:22)  We must abide in Christ, slow down and wait on God. "But those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength.  They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint." Isaiah 40:31
